She spent the last seven years working in the public school system, with her first job being at the Northside Elementary School in Colonial Heights, where she was the Director for the Kids After School program.

This area appreciated the dedication, consistency, strength, resilience and caring nature of Ms. Boyd. She then accepted the offer to become the after school director at Bensley Elementary and Woodville Elementary Schools on behalf of the YMCA for an additional 3 years. In the words of our founder, "I truly have enjoyed my journey of working with your/our children".
Ms. Boyd enjoys working with children so much, that in 2020, she decided to start her own non-profit. "I chose to do this because I truly believe that children are "OUR" future leaders". "I love to watch them grow, learn and maximize their potential". "I am a big advocate for positive change, equal opportunities for all and making a difference". "I truly believe we set our own destiny. No matter what obstacles children face they can overcome them and be great"! All words by our Founder Ms. Boyd.
